When is the next Class of 80 Reunion going to be held? Lots of ideas were brought up at the 30th to plan for our next reunion. Plans were discussed to hold a gathering in 2 years at the Panama Canal Society reunion to celebrate turning the big 50!!! Also discussed were holding a reunion in Panama in 2015. Why should I keep up an annual membership in the Panama Canal Society? We have been holding our Class Reunions in conjunction with the annual Panama Canal Society Reunions held every year around July 4 in Orlando, Florida. We strongly encourage all alumni to maintain their memberships every year rather than once every five years to coincide with one of our Class Reunion years. We need to keep this organization alive with our annual memberships. Thank you to BHS 80 alumni Lynn Dunning Harp, and Karen Peugnet Brandl, who are currently serving as reporters for the Society publication Canal Record and to Bliss Morris Connerton who is serving as a Director of the Panama Canal Society. How do I get on the emailing list for future reunions? Sign the guestbook on this site, email or join the facebook BHS Class of 1980 group. Why isn't this site updated more often? A large number of BHS 80 alumni are now on facebook and that has become the primary means of keeping in touch. This web site will likely be phased out over time. Anyone interested in taking over this site or creating a new BHS 80 web site please let me know, I will be happy to turn over the site to a new webmaster! How do I send in items for this web site or contact you for more info?
